Education Adult Education Adult Sunday School classes are offered at 9:30 a.m. each week. A class for those fifty and over entitled “Catechism Revisited” meets each Sunday in the Conference Room. Another class for adults meets in the first classroom upstairs in the Fellowship Hall. This group is currently doing an overview of the Old Testament. From March 30 through May 11 Pastor Meyer is leading a New Member Class. This course examines the basics of the Christian faith from a Lutheran perspective. In addition to those interested in joining COR, those who wish to learn about our faith with no obligation to join as well as those who are already members are welcome in this class. Another group is doing an Old Testament overview course on Sunday mornings. This study gives the big picture of the biblical story that stretches over more than a thousand years, recorded in thirty-seven books that comprise our Old Testament. God spoke and acted through an astounding variety of individuals, not all of them Jewish, to reveal the truth. The study views the Old Testament through Christian eyes, exploring how God's Word to people living before Christ prepares the way for the Good News of Jesus, the Messiah. Also, a group meets in the church conference room every first and third Thursday at 9 AM for Bible Study.
