At Christ Our Redeemer, there will be admissions testing for all students entering first through the eighth grade. A birth certificate, an interview with the principal, and a letter of recommendation from the prior administrator will also be required. There may be situations, however, where it becomes necessary to contact the previous teacher or counselor to verify that the student is sufficiently prepared for the applicable grade.
Children entering the kindergarten and preschool programs must meet the age requirements set by the School Board. Preschool-3 applicants must be three years old by September 1; Preschool-4 applicants must be four years old by September 1. Kindergarten applicants must be five years old by September 1. A copy of the child's birth certificate must be submitted prior to attendance at CORLS.
Children will be accepted based on the ability of CORLS to meet their educational needs. There are cases where children have needs that are beyond the capabilities of CORLS’ expertise and resources; in those cases, CORLS will not be able to accept those children as students in the school.
