Sports Opportunities

There are two levels of interscholastic competition at CORLS. The J.V. teams’ emphases are to teach skills and provide participation opportunities. Winning, while always a goal, is not the major priority.

Varsity competition is designed to be more competitive, with the emphasis on winning increasing. Not all team members will necessarily play in each game, although efforts will be made to accomplish this.

As need arises, students at the J.V. level age may be asked to participate at the varsity level. This is done only through agreement by parents, coaches, the Athletic Director and the Principal.
